The project Utopia Travel was realized in spring 2002 after 2 years of preparation.
The basic outline of the project Utopia Travel was the transport of a selection of videotapes from Cairo to Vienna following the transition from the upper part of the African continent over the Middle East towards Europe. › more

Return to Sender - postcard

Return to Sender broached the issue of gentrification with 3 postcards in holiday-styles. The postcards were for free and showed montages of the 16th district as a holiday place for artists in order to show the process of changing the grown urban structure of the district towards a gentrified place. › more

This project is the result of investigations concerning the topic of the private and public space and furthermore the idea of urban squatting and camouflage techniques.
While investigating the influence of an anonymously covered body in the public sphere and the effect of different positions on passing people, we came up with the idea to produce a product designated to squatting itself. › more
